So first of all let me tell you about two
instances of depression which I witnessed closely

When I was in my first year of graduation,

When I was in my first year of graduation,
I remember, that I went into depression somehow . I was having some family problems, as well as problems with adjusting in the new city and losing old friends, and coincidentally I had some issues with my personal life too at that very moment , so eventually I slipped into depression.
I remember I used to visit my home during the weekends, and my mother used to cry looking at me . My parents were so tensed about me that how I am I going to survive . One day my father took me for a walk and told me that no education, nothing is more important than you, he asked me to leave the college and have a new start but I somehow managed to survive through, and believe me it made me emerge as a better and more confident person. I am emotionally stronger now because of that , and I have the strength of overcoming difficult situations now.
INSTANCE TWO
Now let's talk about another instance of depression which I have witnessed,
A friend of mine( not a close one you though) lost her mother in a road accident ,
initially she was handling the situation strongly , she was taking care of her little brother and was trying to
be the strength of her family ,but eventually as the days passed by when the relatives stopped visiting ,when everyone else resumed with a normal life, that was the movement something hit her hard and she slipped into depression , a severe one . I remember how everyone tried to console her ,I remember the look in her eyes, the way she felt that nothing more is there to live for,but somehow she also managed to struggle her life through that phase
SO NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT DEPRESSION . WHAT EXACTLY THIS TERM IS?
I could easily give you a big scientific dictionary definition of depression, but since I have witnessed this thing so closely I would like to put it in my simple words this time.
● It is a feeling of finding yourself stuck
in the vicious cycle of sadness doubtfulness, fear and anxiety.
● You doubt yourself, question every choice
of yours ,every decision you have made .
● You feel that the life you are living is
meaningless.
● There are moments when you feel as if you
have a very heavy burden on your heart which was never there before,
and there are times when you feel totally empty, as if you have nothing to live for, to think about, to care for.

And the reason of depression ?
It could be anything . Known or Unknown .
It is a very casual word
to hear, a very easy one to understand but the feelings which that person has
to face is far beyond imagination.
To all those people out there who are facing depression, or sadness,
one thing I want to say is that you will be fine I promise, it will just take time but you will be fine eventually these feelings will fade away, this emptiness will go away and you will be fine please don't lose your confidence , just don't lose your hope

the heart
